THE LAKE RUN     1-5pm

On days when conditions are right, we'll ski from Mt. Judah, accessible by the new Summit Chair across to Donner Peak, then all the way down to the west end of Donner Lake. This classic "locals" run can be done with fixed heel alpine resort skis or snowboard or bring your tele or alpine touring gear.

We'll post the sign "the day of" at the Backcountry Adventure Center when conditions are good. The tour leaves at 1:00pm, so arrive at the BAC in time to get signed up and pick up your pack, avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel.

From Donner Lake, we'll take a shuttle bus back to Sugar Bowl between 4:30 - 5:00pm. There is no better way to finish a great day at Sugar Bowl than with the Lake Run.
