Avalanche 3 Prep Course 2 Days
This optional 2-day/20hr. course is designed to refresh candidates who meet the pre-requisites of AIARE Avalanche Level 3 in quality of craftsmenship with formal field procedures including test and full profiles, grain identification, snow density measurement and advanced bonding tests.
Terrain travel will be in more complex terrain addressing travel and group management techniques at the standard that will be expected for the AIARE Level 3 certification exam. Multiple burial rescue including 3-circle search, micro search strip and shoveling technique will also be practiced.
